Lombok Audax cycling distance is 400 km around the island of Lombok that may be taken for 2 days. The event will be held on 31 March to 1 April 2012 which means that each day participants will travel 200 km. Audax is not a race but also is not a casual bike ride. The average speed on this Audax is 22.5 to 30 km /h.
During the trip, will stop after 50 miles and participants can rest, eat and drink. Audax is not as tight as the race but no time is given by the organizers that the trip is not too delayed. Participants are free to walk alone or in groups with a predetermined route. There are escort by a marshall.
Locations in Lombok as well as a tour by the beautiful scenery of the island in East Indonesia. Surrounded by beaches and dunes with stunning ocean views visible from above. Seen Mount Rinjani is the second highest mountain in Indonesia and is still active. Landscape will not be separated during the course of Lombok Audax.
