Sade hamlet located in District Pujut, Central Lombok, Lombok Island,West Nusa Tenggara Province, located approximately 30 kilometers from the city of Mataram. To discover this hamlet was not difficult because it is right at the edge of the highway Praya - Kuta on the outside of the hamlet there is a big signboard that read Sade villages.Sade hamlet is one of the tribal villages that are indigenous Sasak people of Lombok, the building in the hamlet is still very traditional Sade every building made of wood and bamboo on the walls and palm thatch roof.
Houses a very unique shape and consists of 2 rooms, first room contained the front of the room after we entered the main door of the house after that there is space in the higher floors where the two stairs from the front room floor, to enter the space within us must pass through the door small-sized timber with a height of about 150 cm long and oval shaped.In this room there are 2 in the furnace for cooking which is made of soil and blend with the floor. Sade Society cook using wood as fuel, not far from the stove there is a room with walls of bamboo which is a bedroom. The distance between the floor with a roof so high that the air inside it was cool. The houses were lined up neatly with a high that is almost the same between one house to another house so it looks very neat.
On the outside of the house exactly in front of the house there is a granary buildings whose shape is very distinctive, at the bottom there is a bale-bale barn where residents interact while keeping the barn. Connecting road between the houses are still made from the ground but there are some sections that have been made with cement and tiles.
Livelihoods is farming while the women weave their own fabrics to create typical lizard motif, marketed in the weaving art shop and also around the house with the price varying depending on the size and complexity of the process of manufacture of woven fabric.While in this village are felt comfort and peace of the environment, convenience is very difficult to obtain in large cities, although Sade village was in the crowd felt the edge of the highway was once an adventure when you are in it.Sade hamlet is one of the traditional villages that still persist among the hundreds of traditional villages in Indonesia and is the cultural wealth of our country.
